Professional Applied Kinesiology.

Professional Applied Kinesiology (PAK) is an interdisciplinary approach to health care. It is a holistic and natural medical technique that uses functional assessment measures such as posture and gait analysis, range of motion, static palpation, motion analysis, and manual muscle testing as a neurological evaluation. These assessments are used in conjunction with standard methods of diagnosis, such as clinical history, physical examinations and laboratory testing to develop the appropriate treatment protocols for patients.

PAK stresses that there are three factors that must be kept in balance to maintain health:
structural, chemical, and mental/emotional: a Triad of Health.

The structural component of the triad of health is addressed through traditional chiropractic care. The chemical side is addressed through dietary change and nutritional supplementation. Finally, the mental/emotional aspect is addressed through different modalities such as neuroemotional technique (NET) and BrainSpotting.

PAK enables the doctor to evaluate the triad’s functional balance and direct therapy toward the imbalanced side or sides. Physicians who understand the triad of health and evaluates patients for all three areas increases his ability to find the underlying cause of health problems.
